隨著香港愈來愈商業化,「香港文化」也沾上不少商業色彩,香港主流文化容易受商業和外地文化影響。與此同時很多具有中國文化遺產的東方文化亦漸漸淡忘出人們的視線,籍此機會能夠將中國非物質文化遺產“客家文化”以衣食住行的方式完整地呈現在大眾的視野,能夠充分展示東方文化的魅力同時也能保育傳統文化資源,將客家文化推向國際化。
